I manage the html pages here using Excel. The variable data fields like page name, picture caption, description, image, etc., are stored as columns in a worksheet. I use a VBA script I wrote to assemble the various parts of the page, replacing named variables with the values from the worksheet and outputting the result as an HTML page. Simple, n'est pas?

I used to use XSLT transforms, storing data, again, in Excel, and using VBA to output appropriate XML, but I realized that this was too complex. It always pays to review.
